Ardmore Toyota is celebrating Show Your Stripes Day! October 14 th is the big Show Your Stripes day - this campaign is a great way to show community goodwill, support an amazing cause, and garner much-needed funds and awareness for the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. Participating is easy. On Friday, October 14th, wear your red and white striped items in support of the Ronald McDonald House families. Then post your best photos by tagging the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House (@philarmh) and using the hashtags #ShowYourStripes and #MyPRMH. Everyone at our Ardmore Toyota location will be showing our stripes! We also invite you to join us at 12:20pm at the Philadelphia Art Museum for the “largest Show Your Stripes photo ever”! Friends and families are all welcome to join us!

Few things are more exciting than watching the Philadelphia Eagles play a home game at Lincoln Financial Field. With so much energy surrounding each game, you'll probably want to do something before and after the event. You might as well have a good time while your spirits are high. The next time you're lucky enough to catch the Eagles in Philadelphia, enjoy these three things to do before and after the game. Have a Great Meal Near Lincoln Financial Field Getting a meal before or after your next Eagles game will spare you the expense of eating inside the stadium. Luckily, you'll find several good restaurants within walking distance. Some favorites include Philadium Tavern, Tony Luke's, and Chickie's & Pete's. Philadium Tavern serves one of Philadelphia's best cheesesteaks. You can also enjoy wings, hoagies, and other pub fare. At Tony Luke's, you'll find several versions of cheesesteak in addition to the traditional sandwich. For example, you can get a chicken cheesesteak. The roast pork sandwich also stands out as one of the best items on the menu. Chickie's & Pete's gets excellent reviews from practically everyone who visits. The sports bar even won an award from ESPN Mobile. If you eat here, you have to try the crab fries. They're unlike anything you've ever tasted. more Go Out for a Drink Grabbing a few beers after an Eagles game is a Philadelphia tradition. If you're not ready to head home as soon as the Eagles win, get a drink at Tavern on Broad, South Philadelphia Tap Room, or McFadden's Ballpark. Each bar has game-day specials to keep prices low. They also have several televisions so you can watch the post-game show. If you love having access to a large variety of beers, then you'll want to spend a few hours at South Philadelphia Tap Room. The owners rotate taps often, and in addition, the bar offers more than 100 international beers. All three of these bars sell food, so you can get a bite to soak up any excess alcohol. Visit Center City While there are some good bars and restaurants near Lincoln Financial Field, you can find a greater concentration of them in nearby Center City. You can find retail stores, museums, and cultural activities there, too. Use the Visit Philadelphia site to find fun things to do before or after your next Eagles game. Catching a cab to Center City is an especially good idea if you don't visit the downtown area often. You're already near the neighborhood, so you might as well pop in to enjoy some of your favorite attractions. An Eagles game can get your blood pumping! It will take some time for the adrenaline to wear off. While you're in a great mood, go out on the town and visit places that you rarely see. Surrounding Boathouse Row are several museums, which offer free and discounted admission on special days of the year. Hang out on the docks during the day to watch artists at work or stop by at night to see the entire coast lit up in gorgeous lights. Dad Vail Regatta The Dad Vail Regatta is the largest collegiate boat race in the United States. Spend all day watching the boats from more than 100 American and Canadian colleges and universities compete on the Schuylkill River. Help your kids pick a boat to follow and cheer on during the races or explore the majesty of these boats as they dock before and after the race. Fireman's Hall Museum All kids love superheroes. So why not introduce your children to the home of real-life superheroes at the Fireman's Hall Museum? Admission to the museum is free, but donations are accepted and used to maintain the exhibits. The Fireman's Hall Museum features tools, garb, and artifacts from local firehouses dating back to the 1800s. It even includes the PFD Kids Zone where children can play games, learn about fire safety, and participate in fun activities. Locust Walk Help your children envision a future full of education and possibilities by taking them through the Locust Walk. The path runs through the middle of the University of Pennsylvania, which was founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1740 and is one of the nation's eight Ivy League schools. The Locust Walk passes through gorgeous architecture, fantastic museums, and stunning campus grounds. Your kids will love to run, play, enjoy photo ops, and envision their future along the path. Having fun with your family doesn't have to cost a fortune. You just have to know where to look to find fun, free entertainment around Ardmore. Here are our top five favorite, fun fall festivals near Ardmore. The Count's Halloween Spooktacular Halloween is one of the best things about fall. Getting dressed up, attending parties, and hunting for delicious treats all sound like fun to us. So head on over to The Count's Halloween Spooktacular for a fabulous Sesame Street-themed festival. Children and adults alike will love the costumes, the Neighborhood Street Party, the magical maze, Halloween shows, a Halloween parade, and Cookie's Monster Land. All of the usual attractions will be available at the Sesame Place park throughout the festival as well. more Ardmore Oktoberfest Who doesn't love Oktoberfest? Beer, bratwurst, music, games, and lederhosen are what Oktoberfest is all about. This year's Ardmore Oktoberfest will be held on September 24 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Cricket Avenue in Downtown Ardmore. Get your hands on some of the best German beers available in the McCloskey's Tavern Beer Garden before heading over to enjoy succulent German foods like pierogis, bratwurst, sauerkraut, and more. The James D. Oompah Band and The O'Fenders will be playing music all festival long while kids frolic in a moon bounce and enjoy cookie decorating, face painting, and more. All Hallow's Eve Fall Festival Fall is a time for harvesting the most beautiful produce of the season. This year's All Hallow's Eve Fall Festival will honor the harvest with activities such as corn shucking, apple pressing and cider making, and pumpkin painting. There will also be a tractor-pulled hayride and plenty of arts and crafts activities. Challenge your loved ones to a bean bag toss tournament or explore the museum and gift shop. The festival will be held on October 15 at the Pennypacker Mills in Schwenksville. Coffee & Tea Festival When the temperatures start to drop, it's time to drink something hot. Enjoy all that hot beverages have to offer at the Coffee & Tea Festival in Oaks, Pennsylvania, on November 5 and 6. The festival will feature vendors from all over the country, speakers with tips on how to make the best brew, gift bags, and delectable food pairings. Franklin Square Holiday Festival & Electrical Spectacle: A Holiday Light Show With winter fast approaching, everyone is getting in the mood for some fantastic light displays. But before Christmas arrives and the illuminated reindeer find their way onto your neighbor's lawn, stop by the Franklin Square Holiday Festival & Electrical Spectacle in November. This festival will employ more than 50,000 lights that will shine amongst sculptures and decorations. Enjoy light shows set to music, a beer garden, a fire pit to keep you warm, and local art. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Franklin Square Holiday Festival, so be sure to come and celebrate with the community. On March 29, 2016, Max Paul’s Ardmore Toyota & Central City Toyota helped the Community Bible Tabernacle by providing tickets to the Philadelphia 76ers versus the Charlotte Hornets game at the Wells Fargo Center. According to Bishop Stacey Roberts of the Community Bible Tabernacle, “This was the first time for them to attend an NBA game and they had a ball. In order to be eligible to attend I had them do an exercise during Black History Month.  They had to write an essay on a community charity or philanthropic endeavor headed by a Black athlete or celebrity.  They did a great job.” Bishop Roberts went on to say “I want to thank Max Paul for making this evening of fun a possibility for us.  It is something I am sure they will never forget.” We would like to also recognize the efforts of longtime Central City Toyota employee George Bullock, who led the efforts to create this amazing evening for these students.

On Saturday December 26 th, Ardmore Toyota had their annual Toyotathon weekend Sales Event with Andre Gardner & the WMGK team, as well as the Robeks Smoothie Truck. Over 100 smoothies were given out to customers in sales and service by the awesome Robeks Smoothie team. We recommend Robeks for the healthiest and most enjoyable smoothies we have ever had! Not to be outdone, Andre and the WMGK team had a contest for everyone at Ardmore on Saturday and brought 3 pairs of Ski Lift Passes for the Poconos Ski Resorts (yes skiing even though it was 70 degrees out in Winter!) and a 2 night stay to a hotel resort in Killington, Vermont! We would like to congratulate the winners of the Ski Lift Passes Palvi, Bob and Carol! We know it is going to be winter soon and you will certainly enjoy some skiing in the Poconos! We would also like to congratulate Kristen on winning the grand prize to Killington, Vermont! During the month of October, Ardmore Toyota once again teamed up with LBBC (Living Beyond Breast Cancer) to help build awareness for Breast Cancer. For each test drive during October, Ardmore Toyota donated $1 to LBBC. In addition, we hosted LBBC for a meeting in the showroom of Ardmore Toyota on Wednesday December 3 rd. At this meeting, a check was presented to LBBC on behalf of Ardmore Toyota. We are proud to help build awareness for such a wonderful cause with an organization like LBBC with some amazing people. On Thursday, November 5 th, 2015, Max Paul’s Ardmore Toyota hosted a wonderful New Owner Celebration for new Toyota owners! Customers had the opportunity to learn all about their vehicle features, warranty, maintenance, safety, technology and more. Over 60 guests attended and were treated to a wonderful deli-style buffet dinner from Hymies Deli in Merion, PA. New owners had the opportunity to meet our Service Directors from Ardmore and Central City Toyota. The new Toyota owners had a great evening while learning about their new Toyotas. Technicians as well as technology geniuses were on hand answering customers questions. At the end of the celebration, there were many prizes handed out and one winner, won a new iPad! Ardmore Toyota is pleased to announce that it donated 72 brand-new winter coats in 2015 to the Driving Away the Cold program. The coats our dealership donated will be distributed by Ardmore Community Center to underprivileged children living in the five-county region of Philadelphia. We are proud to help the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation donate a record 42,000 new coats this year! It’s a sad fact that 1 in 6 children in the Philadelphia area live in poverty. We hope this gift will help their winters be a little warmer and brighter. Driving Away the Cold has distributed more than 220,000 new coats since 2008 using a network of YMCAs, social service agencies, school districts, homeless shelters and more. On Tuesday August 25 th, Max Paul Park hosted a drum instructor for two sessions to teach children traditional drumming and chanting. The drum instructor is from the neighborhood and frequently visits Max Paul Park. Dozens of children were able to share the drums and learn.  This end of summer celebration for the children also included a 30 minute healthy snack break. Thank you to Ardmore Toyota, Central City Toyota and The Enterprise Center for helping to put on a wonderful event at Max Paul Park at 46 th & Market Street in West Philadelphia, University City.   An urban pocket park adjacent to the Walnut Hill community farm located in West Philadelphia honoring Max Paul: Welcoming all ages to the Max Paul Park, several community events are hosted there through the generous support of Max Paul and his family.  On August 25 th, a children’s drumming event was held with a book bag and school supplies give-a-way.  Marking the event with excellence: 20 sets of drums for the children’s drumming fun and pleasure, 2 drum instructors for harmonious sounds and rhythm.  Children listening, learning and growing in the arts and culture music.  Stay connected to learn the date and time of the next Max Paul Park event: Arts on the Park!
