Toyota Camry tops list of best-value new cars!

The Toyota Camry Hybrid is the best overall value for the automotive dollar, according to Consumer Reports’ annual new-car value rankings.
Consumer Reports calculated that the Camry Hybrid earned the highest value score of 2.01, which indicates consumer dollars go about twice as far with this car than they do with the average-value car. The Camry Hybrid (tested price $29,000) is affordable for the impressive fuel economy, roominess, comfort, and all-around functionality it delivers. The Camry Hybrid costs a very reasonable 52 cents per mile to operate and has a predicted reliability score of “excellent.”
Prius Liftback also makes the list as best overall Compact!
Highlander is best overall Midsize SUV.

On February 19th, Toyota Motor Sales announced that three popular Toyota models, Camry mid-size sedan, Highlander mid-size crossover and Sienna van, have made the list of “15 Best Family Cars” by KBB.com. The people who judged the 15 best family cars were families and expert editors from KBB.com.
– Camry, the best-selling car in America for the last 13 years, received a new design for the 2015 model year.
– Highlander offers families three powertrain choices, head-turning exterior styling, and a roomy and refined interior with advanced technologies and exceptional utility.
– Sienna oozes fun and function as it has something for every member of the family. Kids enjoy Sienna’s Blu-Ray Dual View Entertainment Center while parents easily communicate with them through Toyota’s Driver Easy Speak system. For parental peace of mind, Sienna was named a 2015 IIHS Top Safety Pick +, and is the only van in its segment to offer all-wheel drive.

Toyota went to the head of the class today, taking the top spot in the motor vehicles sector of Fortune magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. The automaker also scored well in a larger pool of peers, No. 24 overall.
Fortune’s annual list is widely considered to be the definitive report card on corporate reputation. The survey measures nine attributes considered crucial to a company’s global success, including quality of management, social responsibility, people management and global competitiveness, among others.
Toyota’s overall rank increased from 25th in 2014, and its No. 1 spot in the Motor Vehicles category also represented a bump (from No. 2 last year).

U.S. News reports that the Toyota Camry Hybrid & Highlander Hybrid are Best Cars for your Money
As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
But sometimes, you get even more than you pay for. A great movie might be worth more than the $13 you paid for admission. And a great pair of shoes could outlast its $130 price tag and protect your feet from the elements for years.
But what are the best cars for the money? That’s the question U.S. News and World Reports has asked every year since 2008 with their aptly-named “Best Cars for the Money” report.
And, with the 2015 results released today, the answer is pretty clear: The best car for the money is the Lexus RX 350, which won the award for luxury two-row midsize SUV. This marks a record-setting 7th consecutive appearance for RX on a list that began just eight years ago.
“The Lexus RX 350 has won seven consecutive Best Cars for the Money awards,” the publication wrote. “With its serene cabin and coddling ride, it’s not hard to see why. With low ownership costs and plenty of reviewer praise, the Lexus RX 350 is the 2015 Best Luxury 2-Row SUV for the Money.”
A pair of Toyotas earned awards, as well. Camry Hybrid won the Hybrid Car category and Highlander Hybrid won for hybrid SUVs.
The three combined honors for Toyota and Lexus are the second most of any automaker.
According to U.S. News and World Reports, the list combines “the average price paid from TrueCar Inc. and five-year total cost of ownership data from Vincentric with the U.S. News Best Cars Ranking data.”
