In this year’s report, the Toyota Prius has replaced the Honda Fit as the best value for car buyers. “It’s extremely reliable, roomy, rides well, gets great fuel economy, and is inexpensive to operate,” says Rik Paul, automotive editor at Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports rated Toyota Motor and Lexus models as the best value for buyers in six of 10 categories. The magazine said Toyota and Lexus hybrids stand out as having excellent value. The Japanese automakers hybrids rated No. 1 in three of four categories.

A few of our customers recently visited Le Rendez-Vous Toyota in France on the avenue des Champs-Elysées.

We thought it would be neat to show everyone these amazing pictures of the Toyota Showroom and the special concept cars that they have there.

Do you know there is a car there where you can take a picture with your smartphone and your picture actually appears on the entire body of the car! Check out this blue sleek concept car in the pictures.

On Sunday December 2nd, 2012, The Philadelphia Inquirer did a piece on the 2013 Scion FRS. Here is an excerpt and the full story:

The new-for-2013 FR-S is the product of a Toyota/Subaru joint venture. Its Subaru counterpart, the BR-Z (are you growing weary of these cattle brands yet?) is largely identical mechanically and aesthetically, although there is some styling differentiation up front.

Despite its reasonable price (it starts at $24,200 with the manual gearbox and $25,300 with the automatic), the FR-S is a true sporting machine, a real funster. It’s blessed with excellent driving dynamics, thanks in part to its suspension design and the fore-to-aft weight balance afforded by its rear-drive layout.

As a consequence, the FR-S proved a lot of fun to throw around on a back road.

Four Lexus models won in their categories: IS, GS 350, RX 450h and LX 570.  LX ranked eighth on the overall Top 10.
