A 2018 Toyota Tundra

News Release

Philadelphia, PA:

Millions worldwide witnessed history as Coach Doug Pederson and the Philadelphia Eagles claimed their first Super Bowl victory in franchise history with a 41-33 win over the New England Patriots on February 4. As a proud automotive partner of the team, Toyota was honored to be a part of the soaring celebration on the field after the big game.

But the fun only started at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the venue for Super Bowl LII. The following Thursday, hundreds of thousands of diehard Eagles fans flocked into the streets of downtown Philadelphia for the “Parade of Champions.”

Toyota was once again on-hand for the action as the official title sponsor of NBC10’s coverage. And the automaker delivered a surprise almost as dazzling as the “Philly Special” trick play executed to perfection by Trey Burton and Nick Foles: A Toyota Tundra decked out in Eagles gear from bumper to bumper.

The midnight green and black full-size pickup truck passed Philly fanatics on Broad Street, JFK Blvd., and Benjamin Franklin Parkway before stopping at the Philadelphia Art Museum, where the parade culminated with speeches by Jason Kelce, Chris Long, and others.
