On April 7, 2011, Ardmore Toyota (Ardmore, Pennsylvania) and Central City Toyota (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) made a donation of $7,500 to the American Red Cross to help the victims of the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami.

The donation will support disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and the tsunami throughout the Pacific. Toyota has a deep rooted history in Japan and the culture. It is this history and culture that has made Toyota as successful as it is today.

Ryan Pesin, the Vice President of Marketing for Ardmore Toyota and Central City Toyota said, “We are saddened by the loss of many people from this unspeakable tragedy. We realize that we have an obligation to help support the people of Japan at this time. Ardmore Toyota and Central City Toyota have built their company philosophy on the beliefs and morals that the Japanese people created when they built Toyota. Now we have the opportunity to help those who are in need and we are proud to make this donation.”

The American Red Cross is acting quickly to put donations to work in communities affected by the earthquake in Japan and Tsunami throughout the Pacific. Along with the American Red Cross, Ardmore Toyota and Central City Toyota are supporting relief work to meet critical needs.
