Toyota has retained its title as the “Greenest Global Brand” in the 2012 study by Interbrand, a brand consultancy. Not only is Toyota the top brand among auto companies, it’s also the “greenest” among all companies, according to Interbrand’s study of the top 100 companies.
The ranking is based on analysis by Deloitte of companies’ actual sustainability efforts compared with how they are perceived by consumers, based on a global survey of 10,000 people.
