Toyota was recently recognized by MIT Technology Review as one of the top tech companies in the world, among tech giants such as Amazon, Alphabet and Facebook. Placing #17 overall over other companies such as Microsoft, IBM, and Intel.
MIT Technology Review highlighted Toyota’s launch of the Toyota Research Institute, which will study the future of mobility, artificial intelligence and robotics as well as the release of the Mirai as to why they were ranked so highly. Toyota is intensely dedicated to innovation and forward thinking to improve the future of mobility and the Mirai is just one of Toyota’s attempts at this as it is one of the world’s first massed produced hydrogen powered vehicles.
