The success of Toyota Financial Services is measured well beyond its bottom line.

The finance branch of the Toyota brand that provides vehicle financing and protection plans was once again named to the Points of Light Foundation’s Civic 50 list. This marks the sixth consecutive year Toyota Financial Services has made the list and the second straight year being ranked as the top overall company in the Financial Services sector.

Points of Light Foundation is a nonprofit organization that collaborates with volunteer efforts and organizations around the world. Each year, the organization publishes its Civic 50 list, which is compiled from a survey that measures the community outreach of companies on a basis of Integration, Investment, Impact and Institutionalization.

Toyota’s Enduring Presence in Communities Around America

Toyota Financial Services has been a mainstay on the list thanks to its commitment to youth development. Among the company’s partnerships are the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Girl Scouts of the USA.

“Our team members are the backbone of those relationships,” said Mark Templin, President and CEO of Toyota Financial Services in a press release. “It’s so inspiring to see them continue to engage and support their communities during these challenging times.”

In the past year, 64% of the company’s employees volunteered in their respective communities. And the company itself develops team members through community involvement such as the Community Ambassador program, which encourages strategic partnerships with local nonprofits and participation in community activities. The company even offers paid-time volunteering and includes community involvement participation targets as part of the company scoreboard.

“We are incredibly honored that Points of Light Foundation recognizes our ongoing efforts, and has again named us one of its Civic 50,” Templin said. “Toyota Financial Services remains committed to being a good corporate citizen and continuing to respond to national and community needs.”

Ardmore Toyota Is Committed to Philadelphia

Toyota’s community involvement doesn’t stop at its financial services either. Local dealerships like Ardmore Toyota are heavily active and involved in the community as well. Ardmore Toyota supports more than 100 organizations including the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania and so many more.

If you could use some help getting into your next vehicle, the finance department at Ardmore Toyota can lend a helping hand, just as Toyota does throughout the community.
