The 2014 Toyota Camry, Camry Hybrid, Avalon and Avalon Hybrid have received a 5-Star overall vehicle score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The top safety ratings are a result of stringent tests conducted by the agency to measure frontal and side crashworthiness, as well as rollover safety of vehicles – which is beyond what is required by federal law.
