Lane Departure Alert (LDA), for example, uses visual and audio signals to notify drivers if they are unintentionally veering out of their lanes. Collision Prevention
Pre-collision System Detection (PSD) monitors the location of the vehicle’s proximity to other vehicles using a laser and camera, prompting the driver to stop with audio and visual alerts if he or she is too close to another car. Some models include a Pedestrian Detection feature along with the PSD.
Night Safety
For increased safety at night, an Automatic High Beams (AHB) features senses the headlights and taillights of nearby vehicles. This feature automatically switches from high beams to standard headlights when other vehicles are present — and back again when they move out of range.
