That's why we're proud to continue one of our favorite annual traditions: donating brand-new winter coats to children in need through Families Forward Philadelphia.
As temperatures begin to drop, something as simple as a warm winter coat can make a meaningful difference in a child's everyday life. Through our continued participation in the Driving Away the Cold initiative, we're helping ensure more children throughout the Philadelphia area have the warmth and comfort they deserve this winter.
Driving Away the Cold, One Coat at a Time
Each year, we team up with the
Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP) and its charitable organization, the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation, to participate in the
Driving Away the Cold program. Established in 2008, this initiative began with a simple but powerful mission: provide brand-new winter coats to children facing financial hardship across the five-county Philadelphia region.
What started as a pledge from local dealerships to donate a new coat for every vehicle sold during September has grown into an incredible community effort. Today, approximately 200 dealerships participate in the initiative, which has distributed more than 700,000 new winter coats to local children since its inception. We're proud to be part of a program that demonstrates what our automotive community can accomplish when we come together for a shared purpose.

Families Forward Philadelphia, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families experiencing homelessness and housing instability find stability, support, and hope. Through its housing, shelter, and educational programs, Families Forward Philadelphia works to strengthen families and provide resources to help them build brighter futures. By partnering with this organization, we're able to contribute to a cause that directly benefits children and families in the community we're proud to call home. For children facing financial challenges, a brand-new coat represents more than protection against the cold. It can provide confidence, comfort, and one less worry for parents and caregivers as they prepare for the winter months.
A Tradition Our Central City Toyota Team Is Proud to Continue
Giving back has always been an important part of who we are at Central City Toyota. Led by General Manager Jamie Haberle, our team is proud to continue supporting the Driving Away the Cold initiative year after year. Seeing boxes of brand-new coats ready for donation is a meaningful reminder of what can happen when local businesses and nonprofit organizations work together. Our participation is about more than making a donation. It's about strengthening our connection to the community, supporting our neighbors, and helping children feel valued and cared for.
