Tired Hands Brewing Company<\/h2>\n

The founder of Tired Hands Brewing Company<\/a> loved the brewpub model for brewing craft beer and serving it alongside delicious menu options. It opened in 2011 with favorites like Panini sandwiches served on bread baked in-house, local cheese and meat platters, and delicacies such as lemon olive oil cake and coffee cheesecake for dessert. Beers on tap include unique flavors like lemon zest, honeysuckle, nectarine, guava, baker’s chocolate, dough, pink lemonade, black pepper and more. It’s open on weekdays from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. (except Monday, when it’s closed), Fridays from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturdays from noon to 1 a.m., and Sundays from noon-11 p.m.<\/p>\n

Smith Memorial Playground & Playhouse<\/h2>\n

Smith Memorial Playground & Playhouse has been a favorite spot among locals and visitors for over a century. It’s designed for kids under age 10 with opportunities for unstructured and creative play. With more than 16,000 square feet of space, you’ll find sloping hills, areas of wooded terrain, and plenty of wide open fields for playing and running. Playgrounds and equipment are open to children for active and stimulating play.<\/p>\n

It’s free to enter this spot and open to all children who fit within the age guidelines. On Tuesday-Friday it’s open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday it’s open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. It’s closed Mondays and weekdays between October and April.<\/p>\n

Ardmore Farmer’s Market<\/h2>\n

Held at Suburban Square, the Ardmore Farmer’s Market is a top attraction for those who live in the area as well as visitors coming from out of town. On weekdays you can shop from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Vendors come from around the state to bring fresh flowers, produce, cheese, meats, and tasty treats.<\/p>\n

If you live in the area, walk through the open-air market during your lunch break to pick up a fresh and delicious meal. Visitors will love sampling local favorites like seared sliced tuna, rambutan (a tropical fruit from Indonesia and Southeast Asia), and spicy freshly grown peppers.<\/p>\n

Ardmore Music Hall<\/h2>\n

This live music venue attracts entertainers from a variety of genres. Its close proximity to Philadelphia makes it easy for groups and artists to get in and out of the city, but the intimate atmosphere gives a unique feel. Some of the past performers include Phish, Dave Matthews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Ramones. The box office is open Tuesday-Friday from noon to 5 p.m. All shows are for guests age 21 and over, although minors can attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian.<\/p>\n
